Week 12: Enduring

SOLE Week 12

Step 12: We commit to maintaining a relationship with God, adjoining ourselves with His Kingdom and enduring to the end.

Royden G. Derrick, “The Way to Perfection,” Ensign, May 1989, 76

M. Russell Ballard, “Do Things That Make a Difference,” Ensign, Jun 1983, 68

Gwendolyn Peterson Crank, “‘Meet You at the Top!’,” Ensign, Jul 1996, 57

Scriptures:
D&C 75:16

1 Nephi 13:37

3 Nephi 27:16 And it shall come to pass, that whoso repenteth and is baptized in my name shall be filled; and if he endureth to the end, behold, him will I hold guiltless before my Father at that day when I shall stand to judge the world.

D&C 121:7-8 My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment; And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes.

It's never too late to be waht you might have been

As sisters in Zion, we’ll all work together;
The blessings of God on our labors we’ll seek.
We’ll build up his kingdom with earnest endeavor;
We’ll comfort the weary and strengthen the weak.

The errand of angels is given to women;
And this is a gift that, as sisters, we claim:
To do whatsoever is gentle and human,
To cheer and to bless in humanity’s name.

How vast is our purpose, how broad is our mission,
If we but fulfill it in spirit and deed.
Oh, naught but the Spirit’s divinest tuition
Can give us the wisdom to truly succeed.
