Justice, Love and Mercy

While scrolling through Facebook I saw a post that the church had recently put up. I was on my phone and decided I would pull it up on my laptop instead. So I go to their Facebook page and instead of finding the post I was looking for I see a short video about depression. -Check it out here-

"Because of His Atonement, the Savior has the power to succor—to help—every mortal pain and affliction." - Dallin H. Oaks, Strengthened by the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

This brings me to yesterday, our lesson in Relief Society was a recent talk by Jeffrey R. Holland, "Where Justice, Love, and Mercy Meet". This is actually the second time we've had a lesson on this talk this month.

After the lesson was over the Relief Society president was closing and she said, "When someone has been hurt the offended wants justice while the offender wants mercy. Through the Atonement we are able to have both."
