Music Monday, My Wish

A little over 2 years ago my husband and I were doing foster care. We received a little, helpless 8 month-old baby boy. We watched him grow, learn, develop and more. After 3 months we had to hand this little boy over to one of his family members to raise him. I still love and miss him. After he left I wanted to find a song for him, as I need a song for everything. I found the perfect song and a few weeks ago I realized that my own mom must feel much the same way I did letting that baby go. There was nothing we could do, we both had to let our children go, to be raised in unknown environments and unforeseen challenges, but hope for the best and hope they know we love them.
