A week ago Saturday my husband, friend and I watched The Invasion. It was a pretty good movie, but the main thing I got from it was thoughts on the Plan of Happiness and The War in Heaven.
Throughout the movie an alien virus was infecting people and making them emotionless. Toward the end of the movie the "infected" people said something about how it was good to be infected, there would be no crimes, no sadness, no pain, but also no happiness.
This made me think a lot about Satan's plan. In fact that is exactly it. If we had no free agency then we can't make wrong decisions. We can't have sadness or happiness, we too would be pretty emotionless! It was amazing to watch this movie and think about this.
