After I had stopped seeing Aaron I was feeling confused. I still struggled with things but did not trust trying counseling again. I still trusted my first counselor, Joy. So one day I called her and talked to her to get some advise. She explained to me how my thoughts (what Jack had done), lead to feelings (uncomfortable with husband) and then to actions (pushing in away).We also talked a lot about this in group 2.
To help with the problems I was having I just needed to change my thoughts. When I started thinking about what Jack had done, change it to a happy thought (Brad and I getting married).
